Example sentences and translations
Example sentence videos show you how to use a sign. They show one or more sentences that include the sign. They also have translations in one or more written languages.
These videos work a little differently in SooSL Web and SooSL Desktop.
In SooSL Web, the video for an example sentence is under its sense, along with its translation(s).
Click the example sentence video, and it will expand and start playing. You can use the usual video controls.
When you are done, click the red X to put the video back to its small size.
In SooSL Desktop, you see only the translation(s) under the glosses for a sense.
Click the translation and the example sentence video will replace the sign video. You can use the usual video controls.
When you are done, click a sense to see the sign video again.
In SooSL Desktop, you can edit example sentences.
