Some dictionaries are large. They have many signs. How do you find a sign?
You can find a sign in three different ways:
When you search for a sign in any of these ways, the gloss list gets shorter. You can search in several ways at the same time to make the list even shorter. When it is short enough, you can find the sign you want. For example, you might want to search for signs that use the handshape, are made on the chin, and are used only in one dialect.
If you don't find the sign one way, search for it another way. Of course, the sign might not be in the dictionary! But, still, try searching different ways before you give up.
